DAY 01 : Srinagar to Sonamarg
It takes around three hours to go reach Sonamarg from Delhi. We recommend leaving Srinagar around 5 a.m. and arriving in Sonamarg at about 8 a.m. to give yourself enough time to see and do all the town has to offer before continuing on to tour the remainder of the town. It is necessary to go to the Thajiwas glacier, where you may go horseback riding.

DAY 02 : Sonamarg to Lamayuru
Most of this drive will be spent driving either National Highway 1 or the Srinagar Leh Highway, which are both excellent highways. Starting early on your travel will ensure that you have ample time to explore Lamayuru. Because the road is in decent shape, the drive is rather pleasant. Once you get in Lamayuru, you may opt to stay in one of the numerous homestays available or to explore the area before returning to the route that leads to Leh.

DAY 03 : Lamayuru to leh
This is the last stretch of the Srinagar-Lehhighway that you will travel on. It will take you around three to four hours to complete the excursion. Do not forget to stop at the GurdwaraPathar Sahib and Magnetic Hill on your route to Leh and explore them more on your journey. Adventure sports, safaris, and even visits to prominent sites such as the Leh Palace and a few old monasteries are available in Leh.

DAY 04 : Leh to Batalik
The fact that this road travels through the LOC means that it is always closely patrolled. Because the road is in generally excellent condition, the ride is pleasant. Because of the large number of army vehicles that travel along this route, you may encounter traffic congestion at times. Leave Leh at 6 a.m. in order to get at Batalik by 10 a.m.

DAY 05 : Batalik to Kargil
The Indus Valley Road runs parallel to the beginning of this route. Midway through the journey, you must make a sharp right left onto the Leh through Batalik Road. The trip from there is pleasant until you reach a section that is full of twists and turns and requires a lot of concentration. Because the total driving duration is around one hour and thirty minutes, there is little benefit to stopping along the route unless you want to do some sightseeing.

DAY 06 : Kargil to Srinagar
Because this is a busy road, expect to see a lot of traffic in bits and pieces. You should be able to go to Srinagar in around seven hours if the roads are in reasonable condition. You may stop at Sonamarg for a cup of tea and to freshen yourself in the middle of the journey. Sonamarg's Dana Pani Hotel is an excellent place to stop for food and tea.

- BHATKE ADVENTURE reserves the right to change, alter or cancel a trip due to any reason which might not be in the best interest of your safety, like dangerous water levels, landslides, extreme weather conditions, airline / rail dispute , due to any unforeseen circumstances, etc.
- Any changes in tour schedule due to political, social & climatic reasons may lead to change in dates and costs.
- Trekker should have carry a valid ID proof & should also follow covid - 19 regulations like wear a mask, carry sanitizer, etc.
- The trek takes place through eco-friendly zone, so we should respect & enjoy the beauty of the respective region. Do not litter the local sites or campsites. Consumption of Alcohol/Drugs /Smoking / Any other intoxicantΒ during the trek is strictly prohibited. Any kind of Misbehaving activity with participants or local aspects is also offensive.
